Description:Bridges Consulting Inc. is looking for an exceptional Configuration Management Specialist to join TEAM Bridges. TEAM Bridges is always looking for CM’s who are thinking about making a move but just want to see what is out there. We have multiple contracts that have CM opportunities. This is an opportunity to meet with us to see if this is a place you want to make your next home. The majority of our contracts are looking for a CM Specialist to do the following:

• Responsible for configuration management planning
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits
• Responsible for configuration planning
• Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation
• Responsible for configuration change control
• Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software
• Responsible for configuration status accounting
• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration
• Responsible for configuration audits
• Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met
• Supports quality assurance process audits
Qualifications:The interested CM Specialist must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 3 to 9 years of CM experience or at least 7 years of training and experience can be in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. The majority of our positions require the following:

• 3 to 9 years experience in building and managing software releases
• Working knowledge of tools and process used to develop and build software to package and deliver releases, and to reproduce and maintain software after release
• Hands on experience in the administration, maintenance and upgrade of configuration management tools, specifically Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest and Razor in Linux/UNIX and Windows
• Hands on experience implementing, documenting and maintaining software builds and configuration management scripts
• Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems and applications
• Knowledge of CM best practices for agile development
• Hands on experience with – ANT, Maven, CruiseControl, Gforge, Ruby, Eclipse, JBoss, WebLogic and scripting (Bourne, Kourne, Perl, awk, sed)
