Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Policy, Mathematics, Physics or related discipline with four (4) years working on software development. In addition, the selected candidate must have the following experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience developing software for protocol processing
• Minimum of three (3) years experience developing low latency, near real-time C++ applications in the UNIX or Linux environment
• Minimum of two (2) years experience integrating services into enterprise frameworks
• Minimum of two (2) years experience writing and maintaining composable high-performance application frameworks
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience development experience in an (OOA&D environment and implementing OOP Principals
• Minimum of five (5) years experience programming with C++
• Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience programming on Unix or Linux platforms
• Minimum of two (2) years experience using a Configuration Management (CM) system
• Minimum of one (1) year experience writing and using makefiles
• Minimum of two (2) years of network programming experience to include socket development and/or IP based applications
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with Red Hat Package Manager modules (RPMs)
• Possesses at least six (6) of the skills, education and experience listed below, in addition to the above list:
o Experience with satellite systems
oExperience programming services for the WEALTHYCLUSTER 2.0 architecture
oWorking knowledge of technologies and protocols
oDevelopment experience with data link layer protocols
oExperience using Subversion (SVN) for Configuration Management (CM)
oExperience programming with Unix Shell (C Shell, Bourne shell or bash)
oExperience programming in Java
oExperience programming in Python
oExperience using the VALGRIND Open Source run-time test tool
oExperience performing and automating system builds and testing on distributed and multiple platform systems
oExperience with Java Server Pages
oExperience using Ant

Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/Lifestyle Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
