The successful Systems Engineer shall provide Front Line Engineering/Tier 2 support and Leadership for our client's tools and systems.
Operational System Support- Provide support for our client's systems. This includes monitoring and improving monitoring of these systems; responding to and ensuring resolution of operational issues reported by site personnel, 24X7 Monitoring centers, Tier 1 support, dataflow groups, and end users; and providing feedback to development engineers on how to improve stability and supportability. May also assist with installations, upgrades, and patches and ensure system is operating as expected after these actions.
This position also includes working with developers who are currently supporting their own systems to transition that support to one of our clients divisions; assisting in defining documentation, plans, schedules, and resources needs to provide that support; and assisting in bringing in and training new personnel.

| Qualifications: | The successful Systems Engineer will have ten (10) years combined experience, possessing all of the following relevant experiences for the number of years indicated:
• Leadership and management experience
• Strong communications skills
• Experience supporting complex operational software systems including trouble shooting and problem solving
• Willing to travel occasionally
• Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long term requirements.
• Willing to be part of a team that provides after hours call-in support on a rotating basis and respond in a timely manner
• Willing to occasionally work non-standard hours
Other Desired Skills & Experience:
• Working knowledge of Linux (evidenced in work-history)
• Experience with script writing
• Experience with Remedy
• Knowledge of collection systems
Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/Lifestyle Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
