The successful HPC Systems Engineer (Virtualization) will be performing Installs, configuring and supporting Red Hat Linux enterprise-class server configurations, special processing clusters, and NETAPP file servers. Expected to be a Senior Administrator, therefore have some skills in several other areas, including the following: Virtualization (VMWare/XEN), Veritas-based storage management, Veritas NetBackup, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Clustering; DNS/NIS configuration, jumpstart and/or kickstart, Network Appliance administration and UNIX scripting skills (Perl, C, Bourne, Korn).

| Qualifications: | The successful HPC Systems Engineer must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of HPC experience or at least 7 years of training and experience can be in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. The selected Engineer must most of the following experience/skills:
• Install, configure and support Red Hat Linux enterprise-class server configurations, special processing clusters, and NETAPP file servers
• Experience in several other areas, including the following: Virtualization (VMWare / XEN) , Veritas-based storage management, Veritas NetBackup, Veritas Volume Manager; MYSQL configuration, Apache/JBOSS basic administration, LDAP configuration, DNS/NIS configuration, jumpstart and/or kickstart, Network Appliance administration, Unix scripting skills (Java, Perl, C, Bourne, Korn)
• MUST have strong Linux (RedHat), SELinux experience and RHCE is a plus
Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/CI or Lifestyle Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
