Provides assistant designs, develops, engineers and implements solutions to security requirements. Performs a risk analysis that also includes risk assessment. Supports, assists with coordination, and implementation the organization’s information security. A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required: understanding of business security practices and procedures; knowledge of current security tools available; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools; familiarity with commercial products, and current Internet/EC technology. |
| Qualifications: | The contractor shall have familiarity and/or certification with the following technologies/equipment: IP, Cisco, Juniper, and other protocols/equipment. The contractor shall be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) certification. Dependent on other selected equipment additional certifications may be required. HPOPENVIEW knowledge is also required.
Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/Lifestyle or Full Scope Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
