Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security. Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design and implementation of security related to IT systems. Experience in several of the following areas is required: understanding of business security practices and procedures; knowledge of current security tools available; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools; familiarity with commercial products, and current internet/EC technology. Ability to serve as Information System Security Officer (ISSO).

| Duties: | The contractor hall have familiarity and/or certification with the following technologies/equipment: IP, Cisco, Juniper, and other protocols/equipment. The contractor shall be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) certification. Dependent on other selected equipment additional certifications may be required. HPOPENVIEW knowledge is also required. |
| Qualifications: | The successful ISSE must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with at least 5 years of security engineering related disciplines or at least 9 years of training and experience can be in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. The selected ISSE must have the following experience:
• Ability to multi-task; possess a high level of self-initiative and be deadline oriented
• Have strong analytical, problem solving and technology skills
• Advanced skill using Microsoft Office tools to include (MS) PowerPoint, Project and Excel, and the ability to create meaningful presentations and graphics
Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/Lifestyle or Full Scope Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
