Information Technology Senior Consultant is responsible for the following:

• Responsible for software life-cycle support for the daily-reporting of a network trafficking application within a wide-area network (WAN). This tool combines data from various sources of WAN information (netFlow , jflow, sflow, SNMP traffic measurements, router configuration files and routing tables, etc) currently being collected from multi-vendor routers/switches and summarizes this data on a daily basis for a wide variety of reports supporting the network
• Support the introduction of new software releases for this application
• Support the introduction of new hardware platforms
• Will be a team player who will be responsible for the complete productization of COT/GOTS applications which may include: installation, configuration, and the security lock-downs, C&A, testing, implementation, deployment and maintenance from a Tier III perspective.
• Troubleshooting, tracking, and resolution of day-to-day application/hardware issues that have been escalated from front tier support groups
• Provide Tier III application’s support
Qualifications:ITSC must:

• Handling network support escalation, managing network performance, network deployment and more
• Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements
• Min 12-15 years industry experience including recent practical experience providing technical support in a hands-on production/testing environment
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinker with the ability to “think outside the box” to resolve customer impacting situations
• Good systems management expertise, including very good working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and Windows operating systems.
• Bachelor degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within a dynamic environment.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
Strong analytical skills, with a capability to resolve issues in a timely and structured manner.

Required skills:

• Experience with network trafficking applications (e.g., Traffic Sentinel to investigate and resolve network issues)
• Knowledge of jflow, sflow and netflow protocols
• Analysis of custom reporting of IP traffic data for global wide area networks
• Performing the analysis with tool data
• Working within a team environment and independently to achieve successful project milestones
• Documenting and reporting on specific analysis and findings
• Excellent teamwork required
• Excellent oral and written communication required.
• LAN, WAN protocols
• Manage multiple projects, tasks, deliverables and functions simultaneously
• Document test plans, results, equipment commissioning procedures, interfunctional process flows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a dynamic team.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.


Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/Lifestyle or full Scope Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
