The successful Acquisitions Professional, Level 2 shall provide acquisition support on functions of program management. In addition, the successful Acquisitions Professional will be performing the following:

• Assist program managers in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and managing integrated product teams
• Provide expertise on the myriad of factors that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk
• Advise in the interpretation and tailoring of our client's acquisition regulations and memorandums, and ensure affordable, supportable and effective systems are delivered to the customer
• Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs
• Familiarity with our client's action process highly desirable
• Provide budget support for all division capabilities/projects/programs
• Prepare presentations, update our customer's Program Baseline database, etc. to support our client's budgeting process, preparing program and budget information for division management as required
• Prepare tasking requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, memos, and other documents within prescribed timelines for review and analysis for our client's management team
• Provide expertise on the myriad of factors that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk
• Support division management in all related actions as required
Qualifications:The successful Acquisitions Professional, Level 2 must have a Bachelors’ degree in a related discipline or another related discipline with at least 8 years of combined experience in DoD Acquisition management, program management, and/or contract management experience or at least 10 years of certification, training and experience can be in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. The selected Acquisitions Professional, Level 2 must have the following experience:

• 8 years of combined experience in DoD Acquisition management, program management, and/or contract management
• 4 years of combined experienced in Federal government acquisitions disciplines, budget, finance, accounting, analysis and execution
• 2 years experience in typical program control functions for DoD acquisition programs
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in the preparation of reports that reflect program/project status in areas of cost, schedule and performance
• Minimum of 3 years experience in budget planning, budget preparation, and budget execution for acquisition programs
• Experience in developing Basis of Estimate and Spend Plans
• Experience in Planning, Execution and Reporting funds
• Must have demonstrated experience in creating drop down tales, links, and macros in MS Excel
• Experience in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience showing ability to work both independently and as an effective team member with facilitation of cross domain coordination
• Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines
• Experience in planning and organizing
• Excellent communication and customer skills (both verbal and written)

Security Clearance Requirements: US Citizen; ACTIVE TS SCI w/Lifestyle Polygraph (or within the last 24 months)
