Training and Documentation team candidates must:
Be flexible and able to work in an ever-changing environment. Deliverables, requirements and timelines change often, and the candidate must possess the willingness to adjust accordingly.
Have some knowledge of creating websites and updating content. Must be able to create a website with little to no input from the customer.
Have prior experience creating e-learning modules. Must be able to work with developers to understand content, create training and work with customer to deliver a course that adheres to ISD standards.
Have prior experience developing course content, training materials, determining appropriate training delivery methods, and coordinating a schedule with the customer. Experience revising and updating documentation and training as necessary to maintain technical content accuracy.
Be able to provide overview briefings at the customers request.
Have prior experience working directly with project developers and/or subject matter experts to document various hardware and software processes, software installation, hardware maintenance, and user interfaces.
Familiarity with the basic principles of installation procedures, processing equipment, and signals collection.
Working knowledge of various web-development, training, and documentation software tools, such as RoboHelp, SnagIt, Microsoft PowerPoint, Dreamweaver and Microsoft Word. Must possess the willingness to learn and use alternative development tools.
Possess the ability to grasp technical concepts at a high level as explained by system engineers, and translate and document those concepts into a format easily understood by the user.
Be willing to observe and document system installations through multiple iterations.
Have a basic understanding of network architecture and system configurations.
